1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Rae Chrome extension or visiting rae-alpha.vercel.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rae is a Chrome extension that helps users autofill job applications using resume data they provide. The Service includes resume storage, cover letter management, and smart answer detection for job application forms.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use Rae. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Rae offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The Pro plan is available on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Monthly plans are billed every 30 days
• Annual plans are billed once per year
• A 7-day free trial is available on the monthly plan for new users
• You may cancel at any time from within the extension

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. We encourage all users to use the free trial before subscribing.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our servers
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to submit false or misleading information to employers

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of all resume data and content you upload to Rae. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from within the extension. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that autofill will work on all job application platforms. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rae shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities or data loss.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
